 I am pleased to learn about the establishment of the FOSTIIMA Business School (FBS), and view this initiative as a significant step taking us closer towards the goal of liberalizing the education sector in India. Institutions like the FBS will play a key role in closing the considerable gap between the demand and supply of world-class talent in the country that has been created by India’s rapid economic expansion.
The country’s education infrastructure in its present state faces severe limitations in meeting the growing requirements of industry, and the addition of the FBS to the existing pool of first-rate Indian management institutions is therefore very encouraging. With such a fine team of distinguished IIM alumni behind it, I am confident that a successful future awaits the FOSTIIMA Business School, its faculty, and its students.
